    Very good, sir. That’s the lesson my master teacher taught, though he had me work on Db and Gb.

      Thanks Alf! Db and Gb use that same fingering… so it’s probably a toss-up as to which should come first. I like B as a start because the root is under the right thumb; some students get confused when the scale starts with some other finger.
